This is a very beautiful and clean table. It is a little heavy but that just adds to its quality. The wood is not stained and lined, it is the natural color of the wood and all the imperfections in it are still visible. Obviously, we did some sanding but only in areas where we were going to have people standing on it anyways (i.e.- eating). Overall, this table was worth every penny spent! I highly recommend this table!
